Wish you had time to read the best seller Power Sleep by psychologist James B. Maas, whose ideas have landed him on NBC Nightly News, ABC's 20/20 and Oprah? Or would you like to learn about the frontiers of physics from Guggenheim Fellow Persis S. Drell? Maybe you're interested in learning from historian Joan Jacobs Brumberg, author of The Body Project: An Intimate History of American Girls, about how girl culture has changed over the last century, or what authors Diane Ackerman and Paul West have to say about the magical etymology of words, or geochemist Wallace S. Broecker's take on the environment?
These speakers will be featured on consecutive Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in David L. Call Alumni Auditorium in Kennedy Hall during the month of July, in a lecture series sponsored by the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions.
