Tenure Actions

The following faculty tenure actions were approved recently by the Cornell Board of Trustees and became effective Nov. 1.

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Eric E. Alani, assistant professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Sherene B. Baugher, assistant professor, Department of Landscape Architecture, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Yves R. Boisclair, assistant professor, Department of Animal Science, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Xingen Lei, assistant professor, Department of Animal Science, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Stephen Kresovich, professor, Department of Plant Breeding, was elected professor with tenure.

College of Arts and Sciences

Natalie A. Melas, assistant professor, Department of Comparative Literature, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Daniel C. Ralph, assistant professor, Department of Physics, was elected associate professor with tenure.

Claire Cardie, assistant professor, Department of Computer Science, was elected associate professor with tenure.
Bart Selman, associate professor, Department of Computer Science, was elected associate professor with tenure.
