Shoemobile: The Department of Environmental Health and Safety has announced that Famous Brands will be on campus with its Red Wing shoemobile Friday, Nov. 17. The shoemobile, which provides a large selection of safety shoes with the convenience of on-campus shopping, will be at the Environmental Health and Safety Building, 201 Palm Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Employees eligible to receive department reimbursement for safety shoes should use their procurement card when purchasing shoes. Employees using a procurement card may avoid making any out-of-pocket payments for the amount being paid by the department. The maximum monetary amount allowed by the department should be kept in mind. Employees going to the shoemobile can do so on work time with supervisory approval.
