The Federal Highway Administration has named Cornell graduate student Joseph D. Grengs a recipient of a 2000 Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship. Grengs currently is working on a doctorate in city and regional planning. His research seeks to measure changes to transit accessibility in the 1990s and the effect it had on those dependent on good transit, especially low-income and minority populations. Grengs won the graduate category of the award offered by the Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship program.
