Courses offered during university Winter Session

Anyone interested in learning something new, taking a class for personal or professional advancement or furthering his or her education, is invited to register for a course through Cornell's Winter Session, Jan. 2-20, 2001. Courses are held on- and off-campus and through online distance learning.

Winter Session, courses offered through distance learning include:

On-campus courses offered this Winter Session focus on topics including peace science, Buddhism, economics, and writing. Off-campus courses include three courses offered in New York City: a chance to study Swahili, an opportunity to perform supervised fieldwork in urban affairs, and a special program titled Practicing Medicine/Providing Health Care for people seriously considering the study of medicine.

The registration period for Winter Session is Nov. 15-Dec. 13, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in B20 Day Hall. Registration for distance learning courses is by Dec. 1. Tuition is $650 per credit.
