Brief

Leadership Tompkins: Each year Cornell sponsors two university employees to participate in Leadership Tompkins, a program conducted jointly by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and Tompkins Cortland Community College, designed to ensure the continuing vitality of our community by identifying and developing individuals for future leadership roles. The next leadership class, from October 2000 through June 2001, will introduce participants to the services, resources and issues facing the community and will enhance their leadership potential through seminars, retreats and field trips. If you know of someone who might benefit from and contribute to the 2000-2001 Leadership Tompkins program, submit nominations to the Office of Community Relations, 110 Day Hall, by Friday, May 12. Include background on the individual and your reasons for supporting the nomination. Self nominations also may be submitted by the May 12 deadline.
