Senior dance major Cheryl Hunt will present her dance thesis, "Movement Menu," April 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Class of '56 Flexible Theatre of the Center for Theatre Arts. This event is free and open to the public and is supported in part by the Cornell Council for the Arts.
The dance concert will feature five pieces that focus on the subject of food. Its composition ranges from technical dancing to theatrical performance art to audience participation. Music varies from George Crumb to the 5000 Fingers of Dr. T. Hunt choreographed the five pieces that will be danced by 13 talented undergraduate dancers.
Hunt most recently was involved in Dance Concert 2000 as a co-choreographer and dancer. She is a member of Impact Dance Troupe, Cornell Student Choreographers and The Not From Concentrates, an improvisational performance group. After graduation, Hunt plans to teach at a children's dance studio in New Jersey
