CU management institute is back

Cornell's eighth annual Administrative Management Institute (AMI) will be held July 30--Aug. 4 in the university's Statler Hotel. Co-sponsored by the Eastern Association of College and Business Officers (EACUBO), this five-day professional seminar is designed for college and university administrative/business managers and department heads.

"It is our hope that those attending and their sponsors will view AMI as an unusually worthwhile investment opportunity," said Frederick A. Rogers, AMI director. "AMI is based on a real understanding of the tools and insights that enable managers to do more and do it better."

At panel discussions, lectures and workshops, senior university administrators and upper-level administrative managers from across the country will address the latest trends in risk management, employment law, I-Commerce, distance learning, ethics in management, diversity issues and fiduciary responsibility. Program leaders at AMI focus on making the material both relevant and immediately applicable.
