The Cornell Chronicle

Published 43 times a year, the Cornell Chronicle is distributed free of charge on campus to Cornell University faculty, students and staff by Cornell University News Service. The Chronicle is NOT published the last Thursday in May, the third Thursday in June, every other week in July, the first two weeks of August, Thanksgiving week and during the Winter holiday break (4 weeks).

The Chronicle reports only on Cornell University events. Please do not send news releases or letters to the editor about off-campus events or political issues not pertaining to Cornell. The Chronicle does not carry paid advertising.

Members of the Cornell community are invited to submit Letters to the Editor of not more than 400 words. Topics should be of importance to higher education in general or, specifically, to Cornell faculty, staff or students. Submissions should be sent to Chronicle Letters to the Editor, Cornell News Service, Surge 3, with a signature and phone number or e-mail address.
