An article on Pages 3 of the Sept. 27 edition of the Chronicle, with the headline "Tourism experts: Industry will see short-term pain and long-term gain," contained some incorrect information about airline financial health. Midway Airlines did cease to do business following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, as was stated, but Delta Air Lines is still alive and well, although adapting to fluctuating demand, along with other airlines.
