| On Sept. 20 members of Cornell's New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, N.Y., gathered at the pavilion behind Jordan Hall to share their thoughts about the Sept. 11 tragedy. For the event, staff, faculty and students wrote messages on red, white and blue banners that were hung from the rafters of the pavilion. Above, Greg English-Loeb, associate professor of entomology, and lab technician Jenny Ogrodnick read one of the banners. After giving remarks, Station Director Jim Hunter presented a check for $3,000 to the local chapter of the American Red Cross for its Disaster Relief Fund. F. Hickey/NYSAES/Cornell University |
