Investing in humanities

Charles Harrington/University Photography

Passersby in Cornell's Lincoln Hall can observe practices in the new Neylan Rehearsal Hall from a second-floor hallway window. Rehearsing, in this case, is the university's wind symphony, being conducted by Mark Davis Scatterday, professor and chair of the music department. This week, the Chronicle looks at the university's support for the humanities as well as programs in the Department of Theatre, Film and Dance.
