The life and work of A.R. Ammons, Goldwin Smith Professor of Poetry Emeritus, will be remembered at a memorial service Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m. in Sage Chapel on the Cornell campus. A selection of his poems will be read and a recording of Ammons reading also will be heard. Parking will be available in the parking garage near Schoellkopf Field. Those with special parking needs may park in the lot by the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, which will be reserved for this event.
