ESL classes: Volunteer teachers, sponsored by the Cornell Campus Club, will offer ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels from Sept. 10. Registration for classes will be Thursday, Sept. 6, in the Cafe at Anabel Taylor Hall from 7: 30 to 8:30 p.m. Schedules and other information are available at the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) and other locations, including university housing sites. If you have questions, contact Gail Sakai at 277-5209 or pattmore@baka.com. Teachers -- experienced in ESL or not -- also are needed to teach one of the two-hour sessions each week at one of the three levels. If your are interested in volunteering, contact Sakai.

PostMarket moves to Kennedy: The Cornell PostMarket, located for the past few years in the ILR Research Wing, will be moving to Kennedy Hall and merg
ing with the post office located there. The PostMarket will be open in its current location until today, Aug. 23, and it will be closed for the move on Friday, Aug. 24. It will reopen for business in the lower level of Kennedy Hall on Monday, Aug. 27. The PostMarket is an official contract station for the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to providing all postal services, the PostMarket sells packing materials, passport photos, phone cards and philatelic collectibles.
