Four Cornell students were among 36 Catholic students from 12 American universities who took part in the Prince of Liechtenstein Catholic Leaders Fellowship program this summer in Europe. The program was sponsored by a new Catholic inter-campus student organization called COMPASS. Students spent four weeks in France, Switzerland and Italy studying with Catholic intellectuals and leaders from the United States and Europe. They focused on a variety of issues facing the Catholic Church today.
In addition to academic study, participating students were trained to become effective leaders in their local campus ministries. The four students were Ana Patricia Cajina, a sophomore in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning; Nadean Finke, a junior in the College of Engineering; and Simon Ho and John Patrick Janowski, both juniors in the College of Arts and Sciences.
