Flu shots: Cornell staff and faculty members can receive a free influenza vaccinations at Gannett Health Services (when they show their Cornell ID), courtesy of the Office of Human Resources. No appointment is needed; stop by Gannett on Ho Plaza between 9 and 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional outreach clinics also are available on campus for staff, faculty and students. The student fee for flu shots is $12, payable by cash, check or bursar. Halloween chimes: The Cornell Chimesmasters will host their annual Halloween concert from 10 p.m. until midnight Thursday, Oct. 31. Visitors are invited to visit the "haunted" McGraw Tower and enjoy spooky chimes music during the concert. Costumes are encouraged.
