Performances of Miss Evers' Boys are taking place in the McGinn/Cazale Theatre (212-279-4200) at 2162 Broadway at 76th St. through March 24.
Drew M. Noden, professor of anatomy in the College of Veterinary Medicine, received the 2002 Craniofacial Biology Research Award from the International Association for Dental Research at the organization's 80th general session, March 6, in San Diego, Calif. He was cited for "his seminal contributions to our understanding of craniofacial biology" and for his "renowned accomplishments in demonstrating that the neural crest provides patterning information that determines the identity of all other facial structures." In awarding the cash prize, which is supported by Oral-B Laboratories, the dental organization said Noden was one of the first investigators to realize the scope and importance of stem cells and to study the role of apoptosis (programmed cell death) during development.
