Trustees meet on CU campus today, Friday

The Cornell Board of Trustees will meet in Ithaca today and Friday, March 14 and 15.

The full board will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Trustee Meeting Room of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art on the Cornell campus. Approximately the first 45 minutes of the meeting will be open to the public. Topics will include a report from President Hunter Rawlings; a report on the Student Assembly and on the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly; and an update on the state budget, including proposed statutory college tuition.

The following board committees will have open sessions today, March 14:

• The Committee on Land Grant and Statutory College Affairs will hold an open meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Taylor A/B Room of the Statler Hotel. Topics include SUNY relationships and preliminary contract college tuition recommendations.

• The Buildings and Properties Committee will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in Ballroom B of the Statler Hotel. A brief open session at the start of the meeting will include an update on the status of ongoing projects.

• The Committee on Academic Affairs and Campus Life will hold a brief open session at the beginning of its meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Yale-Princeton Room of the Statler Hotel.

A limited number of tickets for the open session of the full board are available at the Information and Referral Center in the lobby of Day Hall. No tickets are needed for the open sessions of the committees.
