'Reflections' on fashion

The 13th annual Minority Industrial and Labor Relations Student Organization (MILRSO) Fashion Show, titled "Reflections," was, once again, a rousing success. In Bailey Hall, April 19, student models, as well as a "guest model" from New York City, featured 26 New York City designers' collections from notable names, including Christian Dior, DKNY, Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Versace. Above, from left, Tara Wood '05, models an Anne Klein suit, while Alani Taylor '02 and Erin Archie '05 show off GUESS collections.

At left, Adam Malik '04 and Joshua Hunt, the guest model from Earnest Management Inc. in New York, wear outfits designed by kamkyl. The MILRSO event also had performances by student dance ensembles, slam poet "Tammy" and comedian Rob Stapleton, among other activities. The event, which is a fund-raiser for the minority student group, gave participants a needed break from studies as well as a chance to relax and have fun. Charles Harrington/University Photography
