No. 10 remembered

Following the Cornell men's varsity lacrosse game with Brown, April 27, at Schoellkopf Field, a ceremony was held to honor and retire the No. 10 jersey of Big Red lacrosse great Eamon McEneaney '77, who died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, Sept. 11, 2001. McEneaney, 47, was a partner and vice president at Cantor Fitzgerald. A three-time, first-team All-American player and national player-of-the-year, McEneaney led Cornell to two NCAA championships in 1976 and 1977. Above, former CU lacrosse coach Richie Moran hugs McEneaney's father, Ed, during the ceremony, while former teammates, including Joe Taylor and Mike French, and McEneaney's son, Brendan, and his widow, Bonnie, look on.
