Peng-Jinn Lin of Ridgefield, N.J., and Daniel Sirvent of Ithaca, both to be seniors this fall majoring in policy analysis and management (PAM) in the New York State College of Human Ecology, have been recognized as Distinguished Interns by the New York State Assembly Internship Program (NYSAIP). The students participated in this internship program this past spring through the College of Human Ecology's Capital Semester in Albany (PAM 392, New York State Government Affairs). Both were recognized for their superior research, balanced analysis and academic presentations of their final papers, which will be published by NYSAIP: "Infertility Insurance Mandate Raises Questions of Equity and Cost" by Lin and "DNA Special Fictitious Name Indictments: A Policy Analysis of New York State Assembly Bill 4205" by Sirvent. They were two of eight interns honored out of a total of 150.
