The following awards were presented to Class of 2002 Johnson Graduate School of Management graduates at the Dean's Awards Brunch, May 24, in Cornell Plantations:
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Award for Student Excellence in Management and Leadership went to Christopher Hamilton Knerr and Heather Lynn Slowik.
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Award for Student Excellence in the Study of Management and Organizations went to Kofoworola Babalola.
Timothy Klusas received the Corporate Finance Award and the Kiplinger Prize.
The following were named Albert Fried Jr. Fellows: Charles Blair Colagiuri, Laura Anne Cooley, Gerhard Gruter, Kimberly Nicole Jones and Thomas Per George Schryver.
Kimberly Nicole Jones received the A. Donald Kelso Award.
The McAllister/American Business Press Prize went to Pablo Ignacio Bedetti, Troy Jared Engstrom, Maria Scaltro and Eirik Underthun.
Winners in the McAllister Essay Competition were Allison White Babb, Matthew Scott Backman, James Breuer, Charles Blair Colagiuri, Brian Michael Culley, Alice Elizabeth Curry, Michael Royale Gauthier and Zoë Jennifer Werner.
Winners in the McAllister Speech Competition were James Thornton Durand, Grace Won-Jen Fung, Jodi Lynn Glickman, Thomas William Kahl, Ying Iris Luo, Tivadar Szegletes, Bruno Vivet and Zoë Jennifer Werner.
Marc Alfred Marano received the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Superior Scholarship in Accounting Studies Award.
Winners in the S.C. Johnson Marketing Case Study Competition were Jabier Arbeloa, J. Frank Glavin, Karen Lim and David Carlyle Sullivan.
Robert William Chesley won the The Wall Street Journal Award.
The Henny Wittink Memorial Marketing Prize went to Ross Bernard Berntson.
The following awards were presented at the Computer Science Class of 2002 graduation ceremony in Statler Auditorium, May 26:
Amit Gupta and Douglas C. Mitarotonda were the recipients of the Jonathan E. Marx Senior Prizes, awarded annually for demonstrated leadership, service and extracurricular activity.
The Alan S. Marx Memorial Prize for Excellence Supporting Undergraduate Education was awarded to Emmanuel T. Schanzer, recognizing his efforts as consultant and TA for Computer Science 212/312.
The Computer Science Prize for Academic Excellence, given by the CS faculty, was awarded to Jeffrey M. Vinocur, in recognition of his academic and research achievements.
