The Entomology Library in Comstock Hall now has a wonderful and delicious-looking exhibit on insects as food.
Whether in traditional diets, gourmet cuisine or incidental consumption, insects are part of our culinary heritage. This exhibit was produced by entomology student assistant Brett Callahan.
Special thanks for the exhibit go to the Nestle Library and Olin Library for the loan of some of the materials displayed, to Professor John Losey for the loan of his poster on "The Art and Science of Insects as Food" and to Kat Swift, Eveline Ferretti and Bernadette Schrempf from Mann Library for their assistance with the exhibit.
Library hours (when classes are in session) are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The exhibit will run through October. For more information contact the Entomology Library at 255-3265 or Librarian Marty Schlabach at 255-7822.
