Tenure Actions
The following faculty tenure actions were approved by the Cornell Board of
Trustees at its meetings in January, March and May of 2002.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
- Nicholas W. Calderone, Department of
Entomology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Rebecca J. Nelson, Department of
Plant Pathology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Keith L. Perry, Department of
Plant Pathology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Michael E. Van Amburgh, Department of Animal Science, was elected
associate professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Architecture, Art and Planning
- Lily H. Chi, Department of Architecture, was elected associate professor
with indefinite tenure.
- Milton S.F. Curry, Department of
Architecture, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Franklin "Buzz" Spector, chair,
Department of Art, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
- Rolf J. Pendall, Department of
City and Regional Planning, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Arts and Sciences
- Kate McCullough, Department of English, was elected associate professor
with indefinite tenure.
- Michael J. Spivey, Department of
Psychology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Charles F. Brittain, Department of Classics, was elected associate
professor with indefinite tenure.
- Peter I. Holquist, Department of
History, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Engineering
- David L. Hysell, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, was elected
associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Raffaello D'Andrea, Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering, was elected associate professor with
indefinite tenure.
- Edwin C. Kan, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was elected
associate professor with indefinite tenure.
Cornell Law School and College of Arts and Sciences
- Annelise Riles was elected professor with indefinite tenure, Cornell Law
School, and professor with indefinite tenure, Department of
Anthropology, College of Arts and Sciences.
College of Veterinary Medicine
- Ynte H. Schukken, Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic
Sciences, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
- Rodney L. Page, Department of
Clinical Sciences, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
- David G. Russell, Department of Microbiology and
Immunology, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
- Lorin D. Warnick, Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic
Sciences, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
