WHAT: A celebration to launch the 2002 Cornell United Way Campaign
WHO: The entire Cornell community
WHEN: Today (Sept.26), noon to 1 p.m.
WHERE: Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art
WHY? To recognize Cornell United Way volunteers (including Day of Caring workers, division deputies, cabinet members and others) and to officially launch this year's Cornell effort to support the Tompkins County United Way Campaign. Participants also will learn more about local human service agencies and view photo boards showing volunteers at the Sept. 5 Day of Caring.
HOW? The power of the dollar. If every member of the Cornell staff who has never donated to the United Way campaign were to donate $1 per paycheck, what a difference those dollars would make.
FOOD? Yes! Perfect for the lunch hour.
