Computer science perspectives

About 60 Cornell students and faculty members and one Ithaca eighth grader attended the panel on "Perspectives on Women in Computer Science" in Statler Hall Dec. 9, sponsored by the Women's Mentorship Program in Computer Science at Cornell, a program of the Department of Computer Science. The event was an opportunity for people with interests in computing and the information sciences to gather with other students, faculty and computing professionals to discuss important issues affecting women in the field.
