A shared celebration between local community agencies, the Public Service Center and the Cornell Tradition, the awards program in the Robinson Hall of Fame Room in Schoellkopf Hall, on campus, recognized and celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments of Cornell students volunteering in the community.
Representatives of local human service agencies nominated students for the awards in five categories. A committee made up of Cornell staff and students and community agency staff selected the award recipients.
Cal Walker, associate director of the Center for Learning and Teaching at Cornell, addressed attendees at the awards ceremony, where recipients and their public service contributions were acknowledged.
