Firefly and friends

Among the nearly 40 scientists from 11 states and six countries attending the Genomic Applications to Equine Immunity workshop June 19-22 at the Cornell Veterinary College's Baker Institute for Animal Health were, from left: Bettina Wagner, visiting professor at the Baker Institute; Dorothy Ainsworth, professor of clinical sciences; Paul Lunn, University of Wisconsin; Ernest Bailey, University of Kentucky; Julia Flaminio, assistant professor of equine immunology; and Douglas Antczak, professor and director of the Baker Institute. The horse is Firefly, a resident thoroughbred-standardbred at the institute's McConville Barn. Charles Harrington
