Building partnerships

Hunter Rawlings shakes hands with Ithaca real estate developer Gus Lambrou, while John Majeroni, director of Cornell's real estate department, looks on, following a ceremony June 25 on the Ithaca Commons for Seneca Place on the Commons hotel and office complex. Cornell will be a major tenant of the $28 million building, to be built on the corner of Seneca and Tioga streets starting late this summer. Lambrou is one of the building's owners. The event was one of the last official Cornell presidential duties of Rawlings, who joined the classics department faculty July 1. Frank DiMeo/ University Photography
