Portrait presentation

Horst Schmidt-Böcking, left, the retired dean of Frankfurt University's physics department, visited campus Oct. 16 to present the physics department with a portrait of Cornell Professor Emeritus Hans Bethe by artist Juergen Jaumann. For two years, from 1924 to 1926, Bethe attended the University of Frankfurt.
