| Two weeks ago, four national construction companies, all among the leading 25 of the Engineering News-Record's "Top 400," were interviewed in four day-long meetings in the Pennsylvania Room at the Statler Hotel to select the contractor for the Life Science Technology Building (LSTB) that will begin rising on the west end of Alumni Field within the next year. On Oct. 8, Bob Stundtner, second from right, the LSTB project director, led the Cornell interviewing panel in a relaxed session with representatives of Skanska USA, a contracting firm. With him were, from left, David Newman, director of construction management, Planning Design and Construction; Brian Brown, LSTB construction manager; Jim Pung, LSTB project manager; and Nancy Phelps, contracts manager, Contracts and Capital Projects.
