Seminar for would-be physicians:Cornell is offering a weeklong intensive seminar for people of any age -- students, advisers and working adults -- who are seriously considering becoming physicians. "Practicing Medicine/Providing Health Care" is set for Jan. 10-14, 2005, at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. The program is designed to give participants an accurate, comprehensive picture of the practice of medicine today and as it is likely to evolve in the future. Now in its eighth year, the program has attracted enthusiastic nationwide participation of advisors and advisees. This year's program again will be directed by Dr. Stephen Scheidt, professor of clinical medicine and director of the Cardiology Training Program at Weill Cornell Medical College. For more information, contact Christine Holmes, program coordinator, at 255-7259 or ch18@cornell.edu or visit http://www.sce.cornell.edu/pm.
