Shoemobile on campus Friday: The Department of Environmental Health and Safety is bringing Iron Age Safety Shoes to campus with its shoemobile Friday, Nov. 19. The shoemobile, which provides a large selection of safety shoes with the convenience of on-campus shopping, will be at the Environmental Health and Safety Building, 201 Palm Road (east of the Cornell Orchards off Route 366), from 7:30 to 11 a.m. and again from noon until 3 p.m. Employees eligible to receive department reimbursement for safety shoes should use their procurement cards when purchasing shoes. Employees using a procurement card will avoid making any out-of-pocket payments for the amount being paid by the department. Employees going to the shoemobile can do so on work time with supervisory approval. Purchase prices above departmental allowances can be paid by employees with cash, personal credit cards or check. For more information, call 255-8200 or contact Environmental Health and Safety personnel on duty at the shoemobile.
