Anne Lukingbeal, associate dean and dean of students at the Cornell Law School, has been selected as the recipient of the 2005 Peter N. Kutulakis Student Services Award.
The annual award, which was established by the Association of American Law Schools' (AALS) Section on Student Services in 2002, recognizes "outstanding contributions of institutions, administrators and law teachers in the provision of service to students as exemplified by the late Peter N. Kutulakis of Dickinson Law School."
The AALS Executive Committee "made this unanimous decision based upon profoundly compelling recommendations submitted on your behalf," stated Gena Singleton, chair of the AALS Section on Student Services and assistant dean at the South Texas College of Law. "The Cornell Law School community as well as the entire legal community have benefited from your exceptional service."
Lukingbeal will receive the award at a reception Jan. 5 in San Francisco.
