Alternatives Library benefit:The Durland Alternatives Library will present "A Heart Full of Grace:An Inspirational Experience of Life's Beauty," Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Anabel Taylor Hall. Featured will be photographer /speaker Mark Tucker and his multimedia slide show, "devoted to illuminating the human condition with the light of wondrous beauty and stirring compassion." The event is a benefit for the Alternative Library's "Prisoner Express" project, which sends books directly to inmates throughout the United States. Contributions of $5 cover the cost of sending a box of books to a U.S. prisoner. Book donations are welcome at the door.
