Experiencing the college 'daze'

Visiting high school seniors, from right, Shaun McCray (Lansing High School), David Swearingen (Lansing High School) and Lindsey Eccleston (Cincinnatus High School) stop at the "ACE University" student registration table in Roberts Hall to learn about student insurance from Pamela Purdy, right, from Gannett: Cornell University Health Services. The mock registration event was part of the annual "First Daze at College," March 25, on campus, a program of ACE (Access to College Education). ACE, co-founded in 1989 by Cornell, Ithaca College, Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Cortland, provides support and information to help academically capable high school students from the area overcome barriers to college education.
