Sheila Danko, a J. Thomas Clark Professor of Entrepreneurship and Personal Enterprise and associate professor of design and environmental analysis (DEA), won the Best Poster Demonstration award at the international conference of the Interior Design Educators Council, March 23-28, in Pittsburgh. The winning poster, which was co-authored with Jason Meneely, an instructor in DEA, documented an ongoing curriculum project that implements digital sketching into the design studio using interactive sketching tablets and targeted teaching modules. The project was developed through Cornell's Faculty Innovation in Teaching Grants Program. The poster is on display in Martha Van Rensselaer Hall until April 30. Danko also won the Best Paper Presentation award with a colleague from the University of Kentucky.
