A benefit to memorialize Jason Rhoades, the late director of Network and Communication Systems at Cornell, and to aid his family will be held Sunday, May 2, at the Pepsi International Pavilion at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, from 1 to 6 p.m. Rhoades, who died Jan. 23, was 28 and is survived by his wife, Isabelle, and two young children, ages 2 and 4 months old. The May 2 Rhoades Family Benefit will include live music, food, beer and children's entertainment. There will be a large silent auction and a variety of raffles.
