Tenure Actions
The following faculty tenure actions were approved by the Cornell Board of Trustees at its March 2004 meeting. These actions became effective April 1.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Laurie E. Drinkwater, associate professor, Department of Horticulture, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
Rui Hai Liu, assistant professor, Department of Food Science, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
Patrick J. Sullivan, assistant professor, Department of Natural Resources, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Arts and Sciences
Eric Cheyfitz, professor, Department of English, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
David R. Harris, professor, Department of
Sociology, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
Michael Nussbaum, professor, Department of Mathematics, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
Nicolas van de Walle, professor, Department of Government, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Human Ecology
R. Richard Geddes, assistant professor, Department of Policy Analysis and Management, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
College of Engineering
Rajit Manohar, assistant professor, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.
David P.
Williamson, professor, School of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.
