Michele M. Bailey, associate vice provost for research and director of Animal Resources and Laboratory Animal Services, has been named one of nine members of the newly established Agricultural Research Program Accreditation Advisory Committee of AAALAC International (the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care). AAALAC Executive Director John G. Miller said the new committee already "is providing instrumental advice that will allow us to better recognize and address the issues facing our colleagues conducting agricultural research."
