| New Cornell students cut out food-shaped pages that local children will use to create their own books during the November Kids Bookfest. The service project was for the Ithaca-based Family Reading Partnership. The organization works with community members to create a culture of literacy through family reading. Left to right are Linda Louie '08, Shane Dunn '07, project coordinator Mary Milne, Liz Downing '08, Shiri Sandler '05, Jen Greenblatt '05, Stephanie Peacy '06 and Elena Broaddus '08. The volunteer project Aug. 16 was one of many for area agencies that the students did this past week through the Cornell Public Service Center's Pre-Orientation Service Trips (POST) program.
