Tenure Actions

The following faculty tenure actions were approved by the Cornell Board of Trustees at its May 2004 meeting. These actions became effective July 1, 2004.

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Paul D. Curtis, assistant professor, Department of Natural Resources, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

John Ewer, assistant professor, Department of Entomology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Alexander S. Flecker, associate professor, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Clifford E. Kraft, assistant professor, Department of Natural Resources, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

W. Lee Kraus, assistant professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Rebecca L. Schneider, assistant professor, Department of Natural Resources, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

College of Arts and Sciences

Anne M. Blackburn, assistant professor, Department of Asian Studies, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Daniel J. Boucher, assistant professor, Department of Asian Studies, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Mary Pat Brady, assistant professor, Department of English, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Joseph R. Fetcho, professor with indefinite tenure, Department of Neurobiology and Behavior, State University of New York at Stony Brook, was elected professor with indefinite tenure, Department of Neurobiology and Behavior, Cornell.

Delia Graff, assistant professor, Department of Philosophy, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Kimberly J. Haines-Eitzen, assistant professor, Department of Near Eastern Studies, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Matthias Neubert, professor, Department of Physics, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.

José Edmundo Paz-Soldán, assistant professor, Department of Romance Studies, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Nerissa Russell, assistant professor, Department of Anthropology, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Michelle D. Wang, assistant professor, Department of Physics, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Shane G. Henderson, assistant professor, School of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Jason Phipps Morgan, professor, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.

Alex M. Susskind, assistant professor, School of Hotel Administration, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

College of Human Ecology

Jamie S. Dollahite, associate professor, Division of Nutritional Sciences, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

William D. White, visiting professor, Department of Policy Analysis and Management, was elected professor with indefinite tenure.

School of Industrial and Labor Relations

Jefferson R. Cowie, assistant professor, Department of Collective Bargaining, Labor Law and Labor History, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management

Kathleen M. O'Connor, associate professor, was elected associate professor with indefinite tenure.

Law School

Mitchel de S.O.-l'E. Lasser, Samuel D. Thurman Professor of Law, University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was elected professor with indefinite tenure, Cornell Law School.
