'The Magical Unicorn'

As part of Hasbrouck Apartments' Annual Family Snow Sculpture Event last month, the Parsons family (David, a Cornell graduate student, wife Chelsea and children Darby and Bethan) created this sculpture, dubbed "The Magical Unicorn." Hasbrouck residents fashioned 14 sculptures in all.

CU experts to hold seminar on science behind tsunami
Today, Feb. 10, three faculty experts will make presentations in a public seminar on the science behind the Sumatra earthquake and tsunami.

Peking U. arts troupe makes stop on campus
The members of China's Peking University Student Arts Troupe stopped in Ithaca last week to perform a program of dance and music at the Schwartz Center. The 32-member troupe, led by Peking University President Xu Zhihong, spent two days at Cornell, touring campus and socializing with students and faculty members.
