Snoop Dogg to headline Slope Day

Rapper Snoop Dogg and The Game will headline Slope Day 2005 events May 6, members of the Slope Day Programming Board announced last week.

The programming board members made the announcement Feb. 24 in front of the Student Assembly. The board worked in conjunction with other student programming boards to bring these well-known acts to campus.

Snoop Dogg, also known as Calvin Broadus, and The Game, also known as rapper Jaceon Taylor, will use the Cornell event to begin an East Coast tour this spring.

Tickets will be available in advance for $25, and students can bring two guests. The advance purchase date is set for April 20. Details of how and when tickets will be sold will be announced at a later date.

Gates will open for Slope Day events at 11:30 a.m., with the first act scheduled to take the stage at 1:30 p.m.
