Campus Club lecture: The Cornell Campus Club Lecture Series will present "The November Referendum to Hold a State Constitutional Convention: What's It All About?" a lecture by Henrik N. Dullea, vice president for university relations, at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Kendal at Ithaca, 2230 N. Triphammer Road. Parking is available in the Employee Parking Lot.
Parking permits: Transportation Services has a limited number of C, F, G and K parking permits available for faculty and staff members. Those interested in obtaining a permit should come to the office at 116 Maple Ave. with their current permit before Oct. 17. The permits will be made available to students after that date. Women in science meet: Graduate Women in Science (Sigma Delta Epsilon) will be holding the first of what the organization hopes will become a monthly event -- a potluck supper Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Whetzel meeting room of the Plant Science Building. Scientists from various disciplines will meet for stimulating and supportive conversations in an informal setting. Drinks, paper plates and plastic cutlery will be provided.
