Carlos Castillo-Chavez, professor of biomathematics and chair of the biometrics unit, gives a talk using the results of a 1989 survey he completed with two colleagues on sexual and dating activity on campus. Castillo-Chavez was the keynote speaker at the fifth annual Unity Dinner and Dance in Clark Hall, Oct. 24, honoring Latino Heritage Month. About 230 people attended the annual event, sponsored by the Latino Studies Program.
