The early bird donors get the . . .
United Way donors who make their pledges or payments
this month will have a chance to win some exciting
Cornell prizes. According to Janiece Bacon Oblak, chair
of the campus United Way campaign, several campus units have
provided more than 30 premium gifts to encourage early
donations to the 1997 campaign.
Prizes include football tickets, brunch at
Banfi's, Cornell ice cream, theater tickets, gift certificates, pet food and
a private, guided, hard-hat tour of Sage Hall, the new home of the Johnson
Graduate School of Management.
Eight drawings will be held each week from among pledge cards turned in, and
Oblak says the earlier you turn in your pledge
card the greater the variety of prizes. Eight
names will be drawn each week in October.
