Breast cancer videoconference: A Cornell Cooperative Extension videoconference "Our Daughters, Our Selves: Breast Cancer Risk Reduction at Home and in the Community," sponsored by the Cornell University Program on Breast Cancer and Environmental Risk Factors in New York State (BCERF), will be held Oct. 22, 3-5:30 p.m. Segments of the program include discussions of diet and breast cancer risk reduction; reducing exposure to home and garden chemicals; down link activity on community planning to reduce risk; and integrating risk reduction into community health and environmental activities. Diabetes group: Living with Diabetes? A new support/information group is now forming. It will be an opportunity to meet others with diabetes and share strategies. Faculty, staff calling cards: Cornell faculty and staff who need to place job-related, long-distance calls from off-campus locations can be issued telephone calling cards (with the appropriate departmental and/or supervisory authorization) that will allow them to bill these calls directly to the university. Once ATS receives an official application, it takes about two weeks for processing. Phone cards are received in campus mail.
