Recent works by faculty members in the departments of Architecture and Art will be on exhibition at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art through Jan. 4. "On Site: Cornell Architecture" showcases the work of architecture faculty through an exhibition of drafts, design sketches, scale models and photographs of completed projects. A separate exhibition, "Cornell's Art Faculty," on display through Jan. 11, features works by art faculty members -- including "Double-Faced Stele Found at Houndee," above, by Norman D. Daley, emeritus professor of art. "Cornell University has a long history of distinguished artists and architects serving as faculty members," said Franklin Robinson, the Richard J. Schwartz Director of the museum. "These two exhibitions are excellent examples of variety, imagination and quality of tradition." The museum is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed Christmas Day and Dec. 29 through Jan. 1. For more information on the exhibitions, call 255-6464.
