The Statler Ballroom was the setting for the annual Cornell Campus Club luncheon and business meeting on May 15, attended by about 112 members.

Deborah Cady, club president, thanked board members who served with her during the past academic year. Then, following an overview of the club's accomplishments and future plans, the slate of officers for 1997-98 were announced: Ann Marie Dullea, president; Donna Clark, vice president; Elizabeth McLafferty, secretary; Mary Lee Noden, assistant secretary; Elizabeth King, treasurer; Mary Ann Oyer, assistant treasurer; Erica Evans, activities; Kaisa Grohn, assistant activities; Heidi Kallfelz, social; Barbara Mingle, assistant social; Molly Fitzpatrick, program; Eeva Krusius, assistant program; Marie de Roos, membership; Jane Hardy, assistant membership; Flaminia McCobb, newcomers; and Beth Ganem, assistant newcomers.

New club president Dullea was unable to attend, so the gavel was presented to incoming vice president Clark, who read a brief message from Dullea and, with club members, thanked Cady for her work as president for 1996-97.
